Go BackLouix’s 62nd Birthday Celebrations
We are pleased to announce this year’s celebrations to honor the 62nd birthday of Louix Dor Dempriey (Bhagavan Sri Pranananda). Each year, people around the world hold a three-day celebration as an expression of gratitude for his presence in our lives and on this planet.
Each year on December 17th, Louix hosts a special event to give a Personal Blessing to all who come to celebrate his birthday with him.
In his ashrams around the world, each day will begin with an aarti ceremony. During these three days, many people also choose to fast or abstain from particular habits, as an act of devotion.
To invoke Louix’s presence during this auspicious time, you may wish to create a sacred space in your home, which can include an altar with his picture and/or other adornments upon it, or a special chair decorated with fabrics. Cleansing your home by burning sage or incense, or ringing bells, is a powerful way to increase sacredness during the celebrations. You can also invoke Louix into your dreams and meditations to experience his unconditional love more deeply.
The following is a summary of the three-day celebrations held in his honor:
Day of Reflection
December 15

On this first day of celebrations, all are invited to reflect upon the impact that Louix's love, wisdom, and guidance have made upon our lives. With gratitude in our hearts, stemming from the joy and wonder it is to be embraced by this God-realized being, Prema Drala Ashram will be hosting a Lila Night this evening at 7:30 p.m at 25742 La Serra, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Please come join us for a night wherein many will be sharing their endearing and often magical stories of what it is like to have Louix in their lives—the miracles, the guidance, the Grace, and the untold blessings. We would love to hear your stories as well!
Day of Service
December 16
The second day of celebrations will be a day of service (seva). Feel free to choose which individual, group, or organization will be the recipient of your loving service on this special day.

Day of Devotion
December 17
It is widely known that the two most powerful days to receive the the personal blessing of a living Master are the day of his birth and the day of his liberation/enlightenment. This year, Louix will be giving Personal Blessings at Prema Drala Ashram, located at 25742 La Serra, Laguna Hills, at 3:00 p.m. His ashrams and study groups around the world will join the festivities with an evening of devotional singing, from various spiritual traditions, of songs expressing devotion to God and Guru.
We encourage each of you to celebrate with your family, perhaps through your own night of devotional singing, or by listening to your favorite uplifting music in his honor.
